ohh. i thought this is prohibited, giving food to the animals...
do you have a telephoto or are you close to the subject? whatever you did, it's great:D
Yes, it is prohibited. These monkeys somehow managed to rummaged through the trash bins despite the heavy closed lids. They caused quite a mess actually. I managed to shoot these right before the park workers shoohed them away :)
Yep, I used the 70-300mm lens and the photos were sharp enough for me to then do some croppings ;-). Don't think I have the guts to be so close especially considering that these are wild monkeys.. hehe.. :)
Thanks Timothy :) Honestly I was scared.. like.. what if they jumped on me.. or for some reason they thought I had food in my camera bag.. or something like that.. hehe.. :). Fierce as they may seem, they will actually scurry away if people were to approach too close to them. They are this close because they are hungry. Plus I think perhaps there were some irresponsible people who fed them, hence making them think they'd be getting food each time there are visitors to the park.
Still I managed to get some cute shots, like that baby monkey hugging that pole.. hehe.. :)
Hey Ino... thanks :). At least to me, in these instances, having the right equipment is important. In short, the lens was of great help to get all the details ;-)
I like the sharpness in their eye, They r so expressive, U done a nice job
Thanks Shilpa :) Yeah, I worked hard for them eyes to look like that.. like getting a sharp focus, editings etc. I think in portraiture format such as these, the eyes are always an important feature and I want to make them 'popped' !! hehe... :)
Josh, these are superb especially #4 from top. Very sharp very detailed and with a great finishing. #7 is equally expressive and the lighting is awesome.

Thanks bro for the visits and the comments. Thanks too for checking out my old entries :). Fyi, I was able to shoot these from quite a close proximity. So that helped in getting the sharp images. Also I must confess that PS was also used to sharpened them up a bit ;-). And these were wild monkeys at Taman Rimba Ampang tu.. hehe.. :)
