An event I had never shoot before. An opportunity that presented itself totally by coincidence. As I was driving through a local university, I saw these guys practising. Intrigued, I then parked my car, proceeded to the courrt and asked if I can take a few photos. I was half expecting a flat 'no' [apparently they were practising for an inter-state tournament] which I totally would have understood. But when I heard a very inviting 'yes'... needless to say I was excited :). It did present a different set of challenges though.... these were the best I could do.
i liked this one. i think the color here is appropriate for the theme.
Thanks Edison... to which I deduce the rest weren't really working for you, I mean, the color treatments, yes? Hmm... yeah buddy, I sure have lots of experimenting and improving to do. Take care Ed :)
wow!! TOTALLY cool and amazing!! i hope you are somehow able to share the fruits of your efforts with the subjects involved.
great stuff, josh. just wonderful.
Thanks :) You know Rhonda, that thought did cross my mind that day. But only after I had drove off. I could have asked for their e-mails and sent the photos :(
fantastic capture! all eyes on the ball including me!
Believe it or not, for me this is one of the most difficult to capture. That moment... to get them all in the frame.... the composition.... etc etc. It was my first ever attempt at sport photography, if one can call these that.. hehe... :)
he fell with a smile..beautiful! this is good for any card of ad.
I actually panicked when he fell. But apparently this is a normal thing. After him, a few other players had similar experience. They were just so competitive.. banging their wheelchair against each other... etc etc... but all in the good fun :) Thanks Miriam :)
